Landman appointed CIO of Boston's Brigham and Women's
Adam Landman, MD, was named chief information officer of Brigham and Women's Health Care in Boston, effective May 2. Landman replaces Cedric Priebe, MD, who served as CIO from January 2014 to September 2015.

Landman currently is the organization's chief medical information officer for health information innovation and integration, where he's been overseeing the implementation of Epic systems. He also is an emergency department physician at the 793-bed teaching hospital. 

A graduate of Yale University, Landman is a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation clinical scholar and is board-certified in emergency medicine and clinical informatics.
