M*Modal’s AI platform recognized for 'impact on healthcare'

M*Modal announced its conversational AI platform earned distinction for “delivering the broadest clinical, financial and operational impact on healthcare organizations” as part of the Best in KLAS: Software and Services report.

M*Modal, a clinical documentation company, was just recently acquired by 3M for $1 billion. More than 40 percent of its customers—hospitals and other healthcare providers––believe the acquisition will have an “overall positive impact in the market.”

“We are grateful for our clients’ continued endorsement because their satisfaction, success and confidence are our primary goals,” said Michael Finke, President of M*Modal in a prepared statement issued by M*Modal.

The ranking, which is based solely on client evaluations, was given to M*Modal in three separate categories:

  • #1 in Speech Recognition-Front End EMR
  • #1 in Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Software
  • #1 Transcription Services

“To outperform the market in both technology and services, and consistently drive excellence for our clients advances our mission of creating time to care for all stakeholders,” Finke said in the same statement.
