New solutions center to accelerate health innovation

The Health Management Academy, a peer-to-peer knowledge exchange for the largest U.S. integrated health systems, has partnered with medPCU to launch The Academy medCPU Center for Advanced Solutions in Healthcare.

The new center will accelerate the adoption of innovative technology solutions designed to increase quality of care and improve clinical, financial and operational performance at the point-of-care, according to a release. The Solutions Center will work with Top-100 health systems to identify challenges, conduct pilot projects and disseminate results.

The nearly 100 health systems that are part of the Academy represent the largest, most innovative and most successful health systems in the nation. Together they account for 67 percent of inpatient days, approximately 50 percent of ambulatory care visits and 65 percent of net patient revenue. Collectively they employ 2 million people.
